    Guess the date and time of Dubuque's first Fish Fly invasion of the season and you could win the jackpot in Rotary Club's FISH FLY FOLLY. Buy a $5 chance and split the jackpot when the invasion happens. The official "invasion" time is determined by the Dubuque Police Dept. and Dept of Leisue Services. Chances are available at all 3 HyVee stores, Radio Dubuque at 8th & Bluff and from any member of the Rotary Club. Liberty Bank has seeded the jackpot with $500 cash and you can also win a case of Stone Cliff specially labeled "Fish Fly Wine." All profits benefit the Crescent Community Health Center.

    Lutheran Services Golf Outing is a four person best shot Friday May 16 at Bunker hill Golf Course. $50 per person which includes 18 holes, cart, and Dinner. Dinner is $15 without golfing, and is catered by Kalmes. Proceeds benefit at risk children and Families in Dubuque for the purchase of items directly needed by clients served by Lutheran Services.

    Dubuque's 175th Anniversary Celebration is Saturday, May 31st, and Sunday, June 1st, at the Alliant Energy Amphitheater in the Port of Dubuque. Saturday's event begins at 7 p.m. and will feature the Midwest rock of "Mighty Short Bus" followed by the blues of "The Janeys." Sunday's event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will include a variety of activities and entertainment for the entire family. Food and refreshments will be served both days. Admission is FREE!

    The Dubuque Arts Council "Sunday at 6:30" Music in the Gardens series begins Sunday June 15 (Father's Day) with The Four Freshmen. This legendary vocal group will entertain from 6:30-8:30 with a FREE concert featuring all the hits that have made them the most influential vocal group of the past 60 years. Bring your picnic supper, lawn chairs, blankets, etc. and enjoy! The Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens is located off the NW Arterial and JFK Road.
